Wayward Agent, The
W. Bartow Wright
After winning the lottery, agent Bucky Dolan decides to retire from the CIA and enjoy his winnings. Unfortunately, an old enemy in the Agency intercepts Dolan's letter of resignation and uses Dolan's disappearance to frame him for selling information from a top-secret mission. Dolan goes undercover in order to determine who is out to get him and eventually discovers who the real CIA mole is.
"He studied himself in the full-length mirror. With these new eyes, grey moustache, and shaved head, he looked like a rancher. He didn't want to be a rancher...but he had to be something, and he had to be something plausible. Hell, he'd be an investor. If somebody asked 'in what?' he'd say 'this and that,' and that would be the end of it. Perfect. But something was out of kilter...."
Bio: W. BARTOW WRIGHT worked for the Department of Energy, the Defense Atomic Support Agency, and a think tank in Southern California. He has written classified literature and, since his retirement, a number of mystery/suspense novels. Mr. Wright now lives in Florida with his wife.
