Jym Marks' lifelong love of poetry shows. His poems are insightful, lyrical, provocative, and beautiful. His voice is clearly a man's, but he is not afraid to dig within himself and find the universal truths that affect us all. The poems in Flashback speak of freedom, rhythm, black history, lust, self-esteem, a mother's love, and more. Open up any page of Flashback and you'll be inspired to read on.
