Author LeeAnn Pappas gives readers a fast-paced glimpse into the worlds of English rock music and Greek shipping. Anna Winters is the young and beautiful daughter of rock legend Richard Winters. Heiress to one of the largest Greek shipping fortunes in the world, Anna becomes the unwilling target of an unscrupulous game of blackmail and revenge.
In a story spanning more than thirty years, Anna's fortunes, both romantic and financial, are entwined with her father's bitter ex-partner, an unstable childhood friend, an aspiring actor who spurns her affections, and friends who will do anything for her. The lives of these friends and foes collide in a high stakes game of passion, betrayal, power and revenge.
Review: "Real characters who are heroic, real characters who are villainous--pulled together in an airtight plot yanking the reader into a dramatic swirl. A novel stripped to its purity."
--Marvin Cohen, author of The Monday Rhetoric of the Love Club
